Im working as a turner machinist in a big steel company,operates vertical boring mills and manufacturing different pumps components.e.g Pump Casings,Expellers,Impellers, e.t.c I have worked on lathe and milling machines manufacturing according to drawings and doing general turning. I also complies with the safety rules all the times.

Pros: Good opportunity to learn complex machining
Cons: Challenges an aquired skill due to demanding effort.

I m a fast learner , i can work well under pressure

My daily duties include : SETUP CNC MACHINE Selecting write tools and inserts for the job Jaws Setting the workshift PROGRAMMING FANUC CONTROL Feed and speed editing if required starting point editing according to raw material Inserting can cycle where required. VERIFYING SIZES If my sizes are not correct i use GEOMETRY/ WEAR to make my sizes right. MEASURING INSTRUMENTS Micrometers OD/ID Verniers ( depth ) TEAM WORKING Production meeting held everday before we start working. SAFETY I make sure that my machine is on a good condition if not i report to my foreman to be rectified The floor must be cleared from oil and other destructive object to avoid slippering, I JOINED TOO MUCH WHENEVER I MACHINE THE JOB WITH A TIGHT TOLERANCE SUCH AS 0.02mm ,HENCE IT WILL NEED ALL MY CONCENTRATION, ACHIEVEMENT I Introduced a method of greep a workpiece ,where by the production manager realized that i saved a lot time on that job.

Pros: The company it has got a good skill development
Cons: We work up to 10hrs each till Saturday

I'm a hard working cnc operator/setter hard worker can work overtime and different shift , can read a technical drawing and use micrometer and veniers

Excellent on a task given

Mitak is a company that gives employees an opportunity to learn and grow as individuals,I love team work cause everyone get to be involved in whatever that needs to be done,wen we fail we dnt blame each other but we see an opportunity to do better so that the work would be done,I believe in team work and also in quality so that I wouldn't mind to put my name on a product that was produced by me

I'm a hard working person looking for a job as I have a cnc operator/setter I know controls like fanuc ot mazak mori siek and good way I can read technical drawing and use different measuring instruments such as micrometer and venniers

Making sure that ever job I've checked is correct if there's a deviation my supervisor knows about.

It's a very busy company and I've learnt a lot from it, it gave me a opportunity to become something as much as it does for other people. If given the opportunity opportunity to learn other things which are happening in other departments I would be glad but as I've said it's a very busy company so what you you've learnt is what you are doing to use until you go.

Pros: If possible there would be a position I would be glad to apply for that position after learning what is the company all about and how is the daily business in the department I'll working in
Cons: 6am-6pm
