Mouldered me to be the person that I am today

I deal with litigation matters daily and spend half of my day on the phone talking and negotiating out of court settlements with opponents. I normally do consultations with walk in and existing clients. My workplace has grown tremendously in the last three years. There are people with different characters, different cultures, from different backrounds. I have leant a lot from working with different people and have mastered the skill of interacting with everyone. I have a passion for teacheing new graduates about everything I have learnt from my seniors and fellow colleagues. My employer is currently satisfied with my performance. I enjoy drafting and consulting with clients. I love reading and enjoy doing reserch. Having to tell a client that you cannot assist them can be very challenging at times, aspecially where minor children are involved.

Limited learning opportunities

There’s a limited learning opportunity. I have been doing the same thing for the past 4 years and there’s nothing challenging There are no systems put in place. There’s no professionalism and no exact salary dates. It’s more like a family company more than a corporate place. There’s a lot of drinking in the office space

Normal learning curve

-Employees are friendly and welcoming. - We are a diversified company. -The companies culture normal but open. - We work mostly as a team and sometimes indepdendant. -I have leant a lot about civil litigation. - Enjoying the open communication with everyone withing the office and there is no strict as contactbthe boss. -The most challenging part is when you are required to do something that you have never done before and yet there is sometimes no one to assist you.

Pros: No opportunity for promotion
Cons: Normal working hours
