Disability Unit, we cater for students with Disabilities, e.g partially sighted, Deaf, physically impairment, and dyslexic and cognitive impaired. We support the needs of each and every student on campus to make sure that learning and teaching does happen to suit their special needs. We take the students for medical check-ups, doctor's visits, consultations and help with accommodation. We take them to Police station for affidavits, etc. the most challenging about this work is that, there is no support from Management, nor proper equipment to assist students in class except initiatives from the Disability Unit. Management refuses to listen to any ideas that we might come up with in making our working environment more healthier and conducive to our student. We do not have a coordinator, someone whom will facilitate the day to day running's of the Unit.

Cons: We are forced to do everything ourselves

Very good learning

I started to work at motheo Fet college this year.I was an intern while I am doing my level 4, I was working as Personal Assistant as well as Receptionist. I learned much experience on how to work with people,how to do a work done,and other office duties.

Pros: Good working
Cons: Working from 7:30 to 16:00

Very good learning

Hard worker

Poor

start working from 7:30 till 16:00 relationship with co-worker is good ive learnt to do submission and requisition issuing invoices switchboard minutes

Excellent experience

I’m working 8 hours a day for week days and I have no complain about working hours. I am working with the most kindly people who have great interpersonal. I have learned a lot from them experience and skills such as Computer skills, Communication and interpersonal skills, administrative and organized skills, managerial and leadership skills. I enjoy working with peoples, interacting with people so i am enjoying helping students. Challenge is when we out of stock or resources to work with and become hard working.

Excellent learning curve

-I have improved on several skills, such as presentation skills, computer & communication skills, interpersonal skills -Typical working day. -My relationship with co-workers is good as I have improved in team-work. -I enjoy transferring information/skills to others.

I am a person who likes to share knowledge and also learn from others. I have more than 10 years. I am very passionate about agriculture and I like working with people. Currently I would like an expose to new working environment.
