Good company to work for.

Multotec group of Companies is a good company within the mining, security and many industries. Our branch is one of many around south Africa and the rest of the world.

Not one of the best places to work for at present.

First thing in the morning check what has broken overnight and do repairs. Hold a morning meeting, can be 10 minutes to an hour or more. Do maintenance checks, repairs and installations as required. Learnt to think out the box much more than normal. Enjoyed being much closer to home. Most challenging aspect is to get management to understand that one must buy the correct spares, can not always redisign the machine to save a bit of money in the short term, penny wise but pound foolish. Good relationship with most Operators, Collegues and management, there are always some people that we don't see eye to eye.

Pros: Most people are good people
Cons: No spares available to do the job.
