Work day 101

Typical work day The day starts the night before by planning your routine and the store you will be visiting for the the next day this is typically done a month before but pre planning is always safe. More over when the day arrives one should always be prepared in terms of the training material your going to offer the stuff and whatever sales things you want to do in the store.

Pros: The ability to meet and talk to new people and learn.
Cons: Long time standing up.

Excellent learning curve

This job teaches you how to work as a team. You meet new different people from time to time and you learn their personalities. Your passion to talk to people grows and you do not lose any hope because you know not everyone will like the product. You learn not to take criticism to heart because it is everywhere. What's most challenging is working with people who don't want to be there because you can't work with them or even help them. In a day we need to make 20 activations meaning in a month there has to be 400 activations and that's challenging because an activation is only made if a billing call is made

Excellent customer services

A typical work day, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 working hours Transparent working relationship with co-workers I have learned excellent customer service skills and good promoting skills Having to work in different areas and approach different people each and every day, is what made the job enjoyable The most challenging aspects of the job was to reach daily sales targets.

Selling to businesses and individual clients • Build sound professional relationships with clients and meet client needs by co-ordinating client service activities with Equity sales and trading. • Build client relationships by undertaking client content-based initiatives relating to management interaction

New opportunities and career development

Currently i am working for a company that doesn't provide pension benefits and also the management is always threatening us with dismissal lastly the money is not according to industry standards

Excellent opportunity to work for the company

Great company to work for, started from the bottom as a branding agent, move yo being a team manager and a sales rep, later on was promoted to an account manager all, in a space of 2-3 years, it’s a great company with great opportunities if you are willing to work hard.

Learning curve

I manage my area work mostly alone overseeing all brand management, sales, training, merchandising. Work closely with store staff and management. Travel extensively and have good relationships with stores. We do all edcon, pepkor and fmcg stores. I love my job but growth in the company comes at a very slow pase. Im looking for growth and to better my skills in the trade.

Excellent learning curve

-It’s good that I don’t work at the office and I’m managed by the phone at my station where I do the work. - we are only 6 at my station of work and easier to have better relationships and team working. - I have learned a lot about the public and how to approach strangers which improved my confidence a lot. - I’m able to speak to everyone with different capabilities and capacity, I have a chance to propose anything to anyone I believe can help. - Thd most challenging is coming across people who just hate to stop and will give you attitude like you’re nothing, but as it happens often we tend to get used to it.

Cons: No breaks, holidays or weekends off
