Excellent learning curve

At Old Mutual I've been a receptionist for 3 years I have learned a lot and have gained more experience. At work we are 11 employees in different race I have learned to work with my colleagues as a team worker I have learned to respect other cultures and their belief as we have different ones. Everything we do we try our outmost best to do it together at work and after work. I enjoyed working at old mutual because it is one of the best and most popular companies in the world with professional employees and a great friendly environment. The most challenging aspect is dealing with different people difficult and friendly ones

Excellent learning experience

challenge is to get clients, meeting new people is easy ,changing peoples life by providing financial solutions. turn a stranger into someone that I have to treat as family member.

Excellent Learning curve

A typical work day would start off getting to the office before everyone else. I am a firm believer in the early bird philosphy. Review what needs to be done for the day and if any adjustments needs to be made given the urgency of the task. My relationship with my co workers was friendly vibrant and always being interested in what they say i gained insight into value added experience at the same time by having an learning and curious mindset. I learned that you dont have to afraid of people and what they have to say. I discovered my ambivert side by challenging myself to do something that took me completely out of my comfort zone. I enjoyed the challenge the most of having targets and meeting it with speed and urgency. I have to say the most challenging aspect of the job would have to be cold calling and handling rejection after rejection.

Active and vibrate,customer service minded

good team player and can push beyond boundaries. Each and individual must be honest and integrated towards our customers. Put our customers or clients first and build a relationship with our clients

Cons: you as an individual learn how to communicate with different types of people and with people in different types of level in the corperate world.You learn to open doors and to be persistant in every thing you do...you go the etra mile when you have your eyes one a goal or dream

Excellent learning curve

Customer service skill is what I have learnt and enjoy the most, helping people and making sure that their needs are met according to the company standards and values . I have learnt that being a team player is the best weapon to success and embracing diversity.

Old Mutual, great values!

Old Mutual is an Amazing company to work forwith a great values. To name them; accountability, respect, integrity and pushing beyond boundaries. It is a great culture to share in and friendly environment to work in. Community service is very strong. Every Old Mutual employee has a “green blood”.

Excellent in finance

I advise clients with short and long term finance working in increasing company revenue helping the clients to make the claims .working to make sure we (co-workers) reach the target doing files and helping at the reception in welcoming clients at take them to relevant person
