Good and excellent

30 days with 2 days off Relationship was very critical and challenging because I have to tolerate people weakness and understand their weak point I learned how open minded I must be,multi tasking ,creative and accurate I be especially dealing with stock and money I enjoy the culture and alignment of the company and how they respect people opinions and also challenging and hearing the customers problems and solving them The most challenging is when money to banking money is not accurate with the cashiers and also if we did not met the daily target.

Pros: Promotion were great and doing money
Cons: Too tiring because I learned that I you are a new staff I work long hours with small money

To treat each an everyone with dignity and respect

I enjoyed working at pep home, they treat employees with dignity and respect. Working for this company has been an exciting journey. The company that grows people. Being a dynamo of pep has been a great experience for me

Pros: Pep is a growing company where we believe if you don't grow you die. The pep culture is Sikhula kunye, simply meaning we are growing together. At pep you never walk alone
Cons: We are working Monday to Saturday 45 hours a week , Sundays overtime. If worked 12 days in a raw qualify gor for 2 days rest period. We also have one monthly day off per month.

Excellent learning curve

The Company has a great reputation and culture and they look after their business and staff but the is'nt much grouth within the company once u've reached the management level.

Pros: Great culture
Cons: No Promotion when on management level

Learning curve at Pep Home

Typical working day includes doing cashier duties, general jobs around the shop like cleaning parcel counter, doing mark down. Working relationship is really good because we do everything as a team to get the work down quickly and be more productive. I have learnt to adapt working under pressure with other employees and sometimes difficult clients and have advanced my knowledge and skills in an actual working environment

Pros: Meeting new people, developing a good relationship with co-workers, getting experience of an actual working environment
Cons: Salary is not good since working hours are really short and I only work once or twice a week

Good

Working at Pep is great and i learn a lot. my communication skill has improved, i work with different people every day so handling problem is what i learnt a lot and to know how to communicate well with people. it can be frustrating to deal with an angry customer but it has to be done for the good of the company.
