Its a learining experience but there is no development.

It is good multinational company to work for but unfortunately at branch level things are done differently compared to other branches around the country. The workers some of them are receptive to new people joining the company but when it comes to development and opportunities for workers to grow at the branch those things dont exist at all even thou its a big company.

Pros: Great company to work for but unfortunately at branch level there is no development and opportunities and there is also lot of favouritsim..
Cons: Branch level is not given enough attention.

Dual Role

My role consists of managing both Sales and Distribution employees, currently leading a team of 86 employee with an annual turnover of 240Mil per annum in sales. I define my role is removing all obstacles that prevent my team in achieving company goals and these obstacles would range anything from dealing with fleet requirement to coaching and developing existing employee and sourcing the right candidates to my team.

Pros: Challenging and exciting, multifaceted role, customer facing, continuously changing.
Cons: Long working hours, poor work life balance

Highly challenging role managing PepsiCo's largest distribution centre

My job contains managing warehousing, sales & distribution. I am a people manager first and it is through my people on the ground that we execute our customers service and KPI objectives The job is entertaining you do the same thing everyday but no 2 days are ever the same. You learn how to prioritise, how to manage managers, dealing with a team of 82 you also grow as in individual everyday from day to day operational challenges

Results driven

uEnsuring sufficient manning to support production. Conduct AIB inspections to ensure production area is at its Good manufacturing practices and they adhere to AIB and FSSC22000 standards. Attend production meetings where QA numbers will be discussed and Inspections conducted are auctioned there. Collate customer complaints and work with production to do proper RCA. The most challenging aspects is working with diverse people and resolving different issues daily. I have learnt the importance of teamworkring
