Good working environment
YGreat work environment, with good learning opportunities for young Engineers. Am currently developing a new product for which am the lead engineer, the team members are very involved, everyone in the team blends very well. I learnt to manage myself and others in a work environment properly, as well improvements in my skills to develop firmware and Hardware. Also i have learnt that i am a good systems engineer, i good at strategically putting methods to solving problems. I enjoy project design meetings where different i ideas are put together to bring the design alive from spec. The most challenging part of my job is dealing with non passionate technicians

Broaden my skills and learning
I am a dedicated person, that works to the best of my ability to achieve my goals that I set out for myself. I have completed my degree in Business Administration and have a vast array of knowledge in different facilities dealing with the business environment. My main interest deals with Supply chain management and human resources. I can work well under pressure and push myself to achieve results that surpass the standard. I am a focused individual that aspires to be a great and successful soon. I am a quick learner and able to grasp new techniques, I work well in a group and can take charge when require doing so. Excellent learning Curve
Working at PFK is quiet exciting, you get exposed to a lot of things (more than expectations). Hours of work are fixed (07:00am to 15:30pm), working with these hours is good. The relationship with other co- workers is good, just that it's a huge company so you hardly know everyone, unless you are working closely with that person/department. I have learnt that working with a lot of people is exciting as we can also share personal experiences which helps us grow in life. What I enjoy the most is lunch time with my friends. The most chalenging aspect is meeting the deadlines for different Customer if there is a high volume of returns from different customers, all coming at the same time.

Happy days at PFK Electronics..
A typical day would be to come into the office 3 times a week, attending product requirement meetings, sales meetings etc. I have learned that taking care of my customer is more important than keeping the CEO happy. I enjoy working with my customers, helping developing their businesses, seeing them grow and become successful. The most challenging aspect of the job is to have old technology and not being able to do anything about it.

National Diploma in Electronic Engineering
I complied my National Diploma in Electronic Engineering but focusing more on Process Instrumentation’s and Controls systems at Durban University of Technology (DUT) in 2012 and I worked at PFK Electronics as a repair technician up until I was promoted to maintenance and development on July 2014. I have basic knowledge on PLC, Pneumatic and AC drives. I did PLC at DUT but I just needed a refreshers course on it. I am now able to program three types of PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi and Siemens) I also have a basic knowledge on C# Sharp and labview and Teststand programming.
Pros: I’m good stealing knowledge to embrace wisdom

Great Experience
Well starting at the bottom of the company and working myself up has been a great journey and has given me great opportunity to learn more about myself and about the company. I had to be self motivated not to get distracted in other things and also very disciplined in getting the work done

Excellent Stepping Stone
I have gained much knowledge at PFK and they have thought me the importance many factors in the industry which i can apply in my everyday life. My co-workers have become like family, We face our Challengers but we overcome them because we spend more time with co-workers than with our family. I have learnt to be diverse, to be a team player, to work smart and have a can do attitude. I enjoy new challenges, also resolving problems, finding a solution, Creating a solution.

I have learnt a lot from working with diffrent people
I do all the machine start ups i have a good relationship with my co-workers i leant to put all personal issues aside when m at work ienjoy learning new things the most challenging part of my job is teaching others to be hands on and maticullas in what they do

Excellence learning curve
my typical work day is we start with morning meeting where we talk about previous day state and we get instructions on what is to be done for the day, which is normally receiving returns product from customers. the product is analyzed, do faultfinding and when it repaired, everything is put on state for a report. I have a good relationship will my co-workers, we work well together as we have the same purpose of getting work done within a deadline.
