Excellent learning curve

We work with the public, organize events attend to media queries sometimes we work long hours it is quite interesting and helps grow one's career as we do lots of networking. We are a small team and the whole company depends on us for information about vacancies, current affairs, company plans etc. I was hired as Administrative assistant but I person beyond my scope and it has taught me a lot. We organize big events like State of the City Address. It is quite challenging as I am expected to know everything and have answers to all question, when I am not busy I read company policies, resolutions, plans etc.

Good learning experience

The most challenging part was having to learn a lot of things by myself which in turn was an advantage because it taught me independence. The plant operators where not so welcoming at first but it got better with time. The best part was being left alone at the plant to operate it. On my own because it pushed me to learn more about operating a plant ant taking proper steps during sampling..

Cons: The plant was not fully functioning due to rehabilitation

Good working environment

Customer relations, meeting different people at all levels, recruiting staff for the organisation temporary and permanent staff. Good team work. we work as a team. Good communication, computer skills, analytical, organising,interpersonal and customer care skills. Working with people. Expected to do more with limited resources.

Pros: Big industry and can learn more

8 hours working day, Formans giving us job cards in the morning. Respect is needed all the time.

I'm happy with the contract I've given by the municipality they've trained me and and given me the opportunity to to do trade test. The love and care we've given I thank them

I was employed at Polokwane Municipality and the contract ended on 28 February 2018 now am unemployed Am a hard working person. Am willing to work long hours where necessary.

Challenging atmosphere

A typical day involves writing reports, attending endless meetings, Budget planning, making sure service providers invoices are processed on time, supervision of construction sites. I also manage a team of 5 project managers.

Iv learned a lot about electricity since iv being part of plk municipality

Im a good and hard working person who willing to learn and produce good for company and i like things that challenging caused its makes me to know more especially working with (RMU)ring main unit n joining HT cables i like to work as a team to produce more.think you
