Team work is very essential and starting and finishing work in time is very important. Being manageable and able to work under pressure.To be flexible and be able to help each other and must be willing to enhance skills an ability at any time. Willing to advance myself on skills and development programs that's available.

Good working condition
Used to work for normal shift, grommets 8 to 1600..we were 7 ,on the team. Making sure that samples were collected and analysed immediately,it is difficult to write something because I don't see what I'm writing. Maybe if you can improve on that. But in summary rand refinery is one of the best camping I ha ave ever worked for

Opportunity to build myself
fairly young team: recent graduates mostly company has systems but are not implemented and roles are centralised, most of the work is based on fundamental principles of chemistry so is important to learn to understand at school as most problems here require one to reflect on what they have learned at school

Learning curve
the workplace afforded me the ability to deal with people from different areas and personalities. Gained experience on different departments. Co-workers are very helpful. the benefits are good, from medical aid contributions to random checkers vouchers for company achievements.

Vast experience in precipitation of PGM'S and ion exchange
On daily basis i have to ensure that 99.99 assay of gold is produced by electrolysis process and granulation of cathode sponge in order to produce granules for production of small gold bars and Kruger Rand's. I previously worked for Impala Platinum in Rhodium section where i received feed from Ruthenium section to separate rhodium from iridium using ion exchange and precipitating to produce a purity of >99.95 rhodium and iridium salts

Excellent personal and professional curve. Expanded Role with new challenges.
Very agile and challenging environment. Opportunities to push oneself to high performance. Collaborative teams and high performance driven. There is great diversity and thus opportunity to learn from different views and grow from multiple ideas and inputs. Culture is part of day to day operations with safety as a priority for all employees at all times.
