Iam happy being in Retail,,

As far as iam present at work that means I love being in retail industry,its very challenging,and i wish I cannot work with something that will not challenge me anymore,to be in the merchandising companies it teaches a lot in disciplines also achieving skills and knowledge to excel,my role is to lead my team,i arrange placing the orders for the company to the clients,I communicate with the clients accurately,I perform different duties sometimes merchandising using planogram,everyday I start with a floor walk and to observe if the customers never mess up department by the last day,then check where I need to fill up,then as a co ordinator I form a temporal meeting with my co workers to split the task of the day to each individual

Pros: My supervisors always encourage me to do my license because they see me growing
Cons: i do not work overtime as the procedure of the company,but I do when i see that iam going to fall under pressure by the following day

Work

I enjoy working with my colleagues we all get on so well . I love to assist where I can , Everyday is a hectic day there's never enough time to complete all your work ,I have learnt so much at my company just what retail is all about lots of hard work. I enjoy collating presentations for clients. The most challenging would be collating feedback nationally as it's a mission to get what you need

Good treatment to employees

I have learnt a lot about customer service. And I must be fast as possible to met the deadlines. Be accurate to the layout they gave you for merchandising. Well we having good relationship with co-workers even with customers. The thing I enjoy the most is paperwork cos I have to do counts check the stock I still enough and accurate physical and print out stock on hand. Also to do orders must be enough to sell

Ability to work under pressure

The typical work day is always busy. Having experienced co-workers make it easy because one can rely on them in executing their duties. Over the years i have learned to work under pressure and to strive for excellence and urgency. I enjoy the enviroment because one interacts with different people everyday. The most challenging aspects is having to meet deadlines while training co-workers who are not as enthusiastic about their jobs

Excellent learning curve

My relationship with my co-workers is good even though there are challenges we face on a daily basis though with work related not personal issues. I have learnt to engage with different cultures getting to solve issues together. I have learnt alot in the workplace how to handle work issues. I enjoy providing my services to my employees and customers being thanked by a customer for an amazing services lightens up my day.

Fast learner and hard work can work under pressure

My job description is to make sure stock is well merchandise and vicible to customer and with correct price always full on the shelf and shelf are clean no expiring stock on the shelf. And make sure that stock rotation is done if it's food

Pros: Great opportunity to increase sale during promotion
Cons: 9:00am to 9pm

Underpayed

No sense of urgency,no professionalism,no opportunity,no benifets,no bonus, too much work,little payment ,good team work, targets are met,good customer service, good product knowledge

Pros: nice working hours
Cons: over work
