Control of various challenges of deliveries/ vehicles / staff / clients. Tracking of ships and communicate via emails. Good relationship and communicates confidently with all staff. To be vigilant and proactive at all times. and always to plan ahead. Much pleasure in planning and coordinating of workload. Keeping the vehicles moving from client to client in the most efficient time frame.

Pro-activeness makes logistics interesting

Monitoring of trucks location as per shift. Liaison with the port about standing time. Monitoring the container ships eta. Printing all relevant delivery documents. Email and telephoning clients. Compiling all info on a database. Communicating very professionally with drivers and co-worker. Pro-activeness make the day go quicker. Communication between all staff are vital.

Pros: All equipment, machinery kept in good order.
Cons: Unpredictability of the weather
