Fast paced challenging environment.

My Current job function as Maintenance Manager ( Agric) entails managing a team of Artisans , Handyman and artisan Aids to ensure that the maintenance on the Farms and Hatchery in the KZN are maintained to world class standards. I am also involved in the Various projects across the Region ie on Upgrades of Existing Infrastructure and Installation of new technology. I have a passion in working with people and have positive influence over my Subordinates mainly due to my Leadership style. I have gained an in-depth Knowledge in the Agricultural sector and can promote this knowledge onto people I come into contact with. The best part of my job is that I learn new ideas everyday and this has broadened my thinking ability in tackling difficult situations. The Challenges of this job is that it is fast paced and makes you think on your feet, it can be stressful at times but this allows one to be alert and ready for any challenge thrown at you.

Pros: A fast pased industry that is challenging.
Cons: The growth opportunity is very little

Good.

itIts good environment but sometimes it’s challenging. I have a good relationship with co-workers. I have learnt how to receipt a service Purchase Order on SAP, I learnt about different types of spares, like motors, bearings, sensors, ect. I enjoy to receive and issue stock to/from suppliers or customers. The most challenging part is stock counting or stock taIts good environment but sometimes it’s challenging.
