Regent Business School Reviews

Good learning curve as a first job after graduating

Regent Business School's East London branch has been recently opened therefore has many ways to improve all areas. The lack of proper explanation regarding the job position has resulting in many additional tasks being expected of myself without training or enough assistance, therefore resulting in many of the tasks being self learnt by myself. The experience that I have gained into the working world i am very grateful for, it has allowed me to see the more academic side of education side other than just being the student. Having a full time job so soon after graduating has been a great adjustment, however it has taught me a lot more time management skills and allowed me to mature more. The staff within this branch have been challenging at times in the beginning, however being exposed to the various work ethics of those surrounding myself has provided me with the opportunity to further develop my interpersonal skills.

Pros: Exposure to academic side of education sector
Cons: long hours, lack of initial training

Excellent learning Curve

It was a great experience working there and it gave me a bit of experience to see how the work environment is. It allowed the none experienced to get an opportunity. When mistakes were made supervisors were able to assist in correcting our mistakes

Pros: Working hours were good
Cons: None I could think of

Excellent growth oppertunity

Regent has provided me with an amazing growth opportunity, I have discovered new skills about myself because of the constant challenge to push for the growth of the Eastern Cape region. I have engaged with such wonderful stakeholders which made me improve on my communication skills.

Pros: excellent personal growth
Cons: working weekends which are not structured and low paying wage.

Not Applicable

I was doing sales and the pressure is on if you don't make sales, but the only time you enjoy working is when you rolling and making sales, you really enjoy working and making money at the same time because the more sales you make the more your commission the more you make money for yourself, well selling to the customers can be challenging sometimes but if you objection handle then you can loose the sales

Pros: Not Applicable
Cons: Not Applicable
