A good operational company with a good understanding between employees and employers. Credit Memo Processing Oversee the matching of invoices / credit memo’s with SAP receipts in the GR/IR account ? Oversee the checking of invoices / credit memo’s to ensure compliance with VAT legislation ? Ensure supplier invoices and supplier statements are correctly collated ? Document scanning ? Verify supplier details on invoice match to Masterdata on SAP ? Develop and Maintain both a Paper Filing and Computer filing system ? Adhering to SLAs for a turn-around of creation of POs ? Build Files for large key customers – Market Info, performance in market etc.

Adapt, Adopt and Over-Come

A company worth working for that appreciates its staff and the value added. There is a diverse group of co-workers each bringing their own spirit to the company . I am grateful for exposure into creditors although my forte is debtors. The challenges faced are with satisfying the needs of your international clients and supplier when communication hampers progress and there is also time zones which affect service delivery. But every challenge is a new experience and every experience allows you to grow a little more.

Cons: There arent enough hours in the day. Prioritising is key

Excellent challenges

I simply love my job, the clients I deal with on a daily basis, I have learnt how to manage stress, time and deadlines. I work well with my colleagues as well as a task given to me to work alone, so I am flexible. I enjoy the challenges of dealing with difficult clients and queries. The most challenging aspect of being a debtors controller is when deadlines are not met, payments not received on time.

Pros: learning the various accounting packages
Cons: not much of promotion

Excellent opportunity to improve a long standing brand.

iid[kdkkI have 20 years of Business development and Marketing experience ranging from managing cold calling teams to self-employed entrepreneurship to various roles as a Director of Business development and marketing for Global companies. I have experience in both Banking and Insurance industries - fulfilling roles of strategic leadership, business development, project management, systems (CRM) enhancement and process efficiencies. I have reviewed the requirements for the above position, and I do believe there is much alignment between my experience, skill set and the role requirements. I would therefor appreciate an opportunity to expand on my suitability for the role.
