Great people

Great people, but the culture is becoming more aligned to a large corporate as opposed to the smaller consulting houses it was made up of. The continuous restructuring makes it challenging to solidify ones role.

Great learning experience

Typical work day: - work from 7am till 7pm, or until work is done. - FMCG - inbound and outbound transportation What I have learnt: - exceeding expectations under pressure

Excellent learning curve

- long hours - minimal relationship with co workers when working on site as a dedicated resources - great canteen - no real room for growth - long hours - steep learning curves - no real company culture

Learn from mistakes

Owning the release process in an environment where agile is prevalent and not ITIL oriented, makes it difficult to follow the strict change and release processes. The co-workers are young and adventurous and like to take risks. I loved the flexi hours. Change management 101 needs to be done in advance and properly before someone can enforce IT processes and procedures. Challenges was to get Dev and Ops to work together and not in silo's

Excellent company to work for

Working at Resolve is great, they give you great challenges and keep evolving you as a person and your career. My colleagues are all well matured people with experiences from all over the industries and that adds to the diversity and dynamic of the group as a whole. Every day I learn something from the teams I manage and the clients, I get to be challenged in this role and mentored in areas that I am not familiar in. Management is never scared to give you an opportunity and to support you in your new endeavour.
