My Typical work day at my current workplace

1.Either you booked for Installation,Modifications,Pm Service or Client Visit. 2.To assist with breakdowns in you assigned area that you can help on the phone or have to drive to if client do not come right. 3.Our Team have about 10 engineers and we all help each other all the time. 4.What I enjoy most about this job is the feeling I have after knowing that I have fixed the instrument and knowing that instrument is gonna make a difference in someone life. 5.Challenges are part of every job,like some breakdown you find that you have to order some spare parts from our warehouse that is situated at (Jet Park) for the repair and that end up making the down time of the client bit longer. 6.After fixing all instrument you need to run the QC (Quality Control) to make sure instrument is working 100% okay.

Pros: Its a nice job cause everyday is a different challenge that you meet up at work so every time I have to apply my Analytical & Research Skills and Interpersonal Abilities which are one of my strength skills that I have.
Cons: I love most of what I do at the current company , sometimes the thing that I hate is to be stuck in traffic when I am driving to a client or to get spare parts from the store.

It was an excellent learning curve

ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS: • I work on all Chemistry, Hematology, PVT and Immunology machines. • I am responsible for Mpumalanga area and help other regions as needed. • I do repairs, installations and services of all the machines in the region. • I manage my schedule and my boot stock and try keeping it as low as possible. • I make sure parts and PM kits are sent on time as per Service and PM planner. • I manage my own schedule and build good relations with Customers.

Pros: its challenges everyday as you have to solve problems on the spot
Cons: I am in MP and i would like to go back to my family.

I am managing distributors in SADC 1 region.

am managing distributors in SADC 1 region, leading the country strategies according work in collaboration with my colleagues in different departments ( Business Development, Finance, Commercial, Marketing and Customer services).I interact with the Ministry of Health, Funders and Implementing partners in the countries I specific opportunities in country.

Pros: My work environment has enabled me to learn a lot about the business and also collaborate more with my colleagues from other departments.This has allowed me to build good relationships with my internal colleagues. I have also learnt the different dynamics of each country I am working in ( Political, Economical etc..),
Cons: Working on Public holidays, we do not share the same public holidays
