Driving for Results with the Team
Joining Rockwell Automation from KHD Humboldt Wedag, a German Company was an eye opener as it exposed me to industry 4.0, and different customers who like change and order intake in high volumes. Unlike at KHD where Capital projects worth millions would take sometime to come through. In my current role I manage Account Managers, so I have to motivate my team, set KPI, hire and train the team, also I carry out growth strategies for the Mining and Metals department and ensure we achieve our annual sales targets. Everyday is unique as one needs to deal with difficult customers from time to time, and negotiating deals is sometimes challenging, also working with different people with differing views and motivation is a challenging part as one needs to manage each individual as such. I enjoy networking with customers as well as closing deals with my sales team, also it gives me fulfillment so see a team member doing well in his/her role

Tremendous journey
I manage 12 multicultural, multi-skilled &various age group engineering direct reports. I am in charge of a dynamic team with high work quality and exceptional engineering expertise. I interface with all Business Units in the company on a daily basis and have a good understanding of the functionality of these Business Units. I enjoy working with my co-workers on both professional & social levels. We have a good culture within our specific team and we are driven to develop skills continuously. I have learnt so much, especially people management and Business P&L specifications and management thereof. Being in charge of a team that perform to the best in Class in EMEA, being part of a winning culture that strives for new solutions and customer satisfaction. Supporting local & Sub Sahara customers with limited resources.

Great opportunity to learn new technology and stay up to speed with latest technology.
Electrical Systems, including VSD's, PLC's, industrial networks are part of the daily testing and faultfinding at Rockwell Automation. My Focus is mainly on the Electronic repairs to component level of Variable speed drives, and SCR speed controllers. I also do repairs to loads of direct online equipment that is still cost effective to repair. Embedded electronics is also one of my passions and loads of little projects and controllers were build as solutions to our clients.
Pros: Flexible work hours, ownership of own work responsibility.
Cons: the individual disappear in the system.

Good time management Ability to control budget requirements Self starter Effect a stock control and management system in the business unit and to ensure efficient maintanance and control of both new and second hand stock in line with divisional procedures and process Work closely with shipping department and courier services Investigates stock variances from reports

Material controller
Receiving stock check and list into SAP. Prepare stock for inventory Packing up the new stock into shelves Receiving stock from the clients that had problems or damange.

I am experienced Industrial Engineering with over ten years’ experience within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. I managed continuous improvement projects with a scope to implement best practices based on Lean Manufacturing initiatives within and abroad. I currently manage assets supply chain: to repair, replace, exchange, identify obsolete parts and rebuild to increase life span of the equipment and conducting Fault Finding Analysis, to achieve Zero Breakdown model.
