Extensive exposure to all elements of sales, operational and technical roles within the company

SA Digital Villages has allowed growth in knowledge of the company's direct operations as well as Telecommunucations industry as a whole through exposure to all elements of the business functions. With massive growth of all areas of the business daily roles often overlap between departments and therefore adequate knowledge and understanding of all areas is imperative. Within the marketing manager role, I have been required to also deal with project co-ordination, complaint resolution, acquisition of new business, channel management of key partners and resellers, reporting on operations department, as well as my main job role of planning, executing and measurement of company's marketing strategy.

Excellent learning curve

I work well with co-workers, everyone is eager and willing to help. I am exposed to a vast spectrum of the technical industry and have learnt to make use of different platforms that allow me to remote and provide support to clients.

Pros: Good company to work for.

Excellent learning curve for growth

Typical work day is busy, I troubleshoot most of the times and work with Technical coordinators, technicians, 3rd parties and clients. I get along quite well, with everyone as I am able to adapt to new environments and people. I have learned a lot in the voice and support industry and want to take my career to the next level. Would like to learn more new technologies and branch through related IT techniques. I enjoy the challenges I come across when issues arise as they help grow me as an individual too, and make me be of great help to the team. The most challenging aspects of the job would be when issues arise and I don't even know how to fix the issues but at the end of the day there is a solution to everything no matter how long it takes.

Pros: Working in an office allows you to mix with your co-workers and build relationships with them.
Cons: No Flexibility

Bad experience

Stressful No training provided No process and procedures on handling clients accounts No accountability Zero growth potential Mind is not stimulated Challenges at work are minimal.

Great company, but management is poor

Great company, but poor leadership. Would be good if the leadership gave clear communications and roles and responsibilities were clearly defined. Not much accountability for the management which is why they do as they please and get away with it. Good office space, and good company vehicles. Working environment highly pressured.

Learning experience

No challenges, no benefits, no bonus. The job isn't what I was looking for to, I'm looking to work hard and make money. I want a job where I will use things I was study at tertiary.
