It helps me for my survival

The job that I'm currently in is just a part time job. Although it is paying me less; but it does help me to be able to cover my basics. I do enjoy the current job because the people that I'm working with are very nice, we are just like a family. I've learnt the appropriate manner to treat customer, team work and being a responsible and independent worker. I enjoy working with my colleagues. The most challenging aspect about this job is when students are school holidays we get more off days and as a result we don't earn much; and there is no basic salary we depend on commission.

Pros: Not working on Sundays
Cons: No basic salary

Excellent networking platform

Sam Browns is a very busy cafeteria. We start work at 7am and knock off at 7pm. Working at a cafeteria is not an easy job for you are on your feet since morning. Never the less I enjoy working with such a young and vibrant group of people. I have learnt to be very patient and tolerant because we work with young people since we are a cafeteria in a college.

Pros: You can build relationships with important people who can help you in the business world
Cons: The hours are very long 7am - 7pm
