I manage by human relation where Company HSE/SHEQ objectives are meet in time through team work.
Everyday I do walkbout inspection and weekly audit through the whole plant just to check any deviation from previous shift. I have learned behaviour of people toward safety culture how to make them understand the aspect of health and safety. I enjoy working with difference people irrespective of colour, culture or religion, I like to interact with people in most. To my experience in SHE career, the most cahallenging part is to change the behavoiur of people, even though you will win at the end.
Pros: I would like to grow in the company that I am working.
Cons: I would like to give attention to my work, until I finished it irrespective of working hours.

Working with teams
Working in a challenging company which stretches me, makes me to learn more. I am so proud of my company because it develops its employees and also pays for our studies. I'm a buyer servicing 4 plants, Engineering Services, SHEQ, LOGISTICS and LAB, Its so challenging because they all need my attention for their critical orders and I serve them on daily basis. There is great opportunities to grow at SAMANCOR

Grate team company prides itself on it values and thus you become part of the companies mission and vision the moment you are part of the team , in my first year as a trainee I was able to organise band co-ordinate company functions , forms,meetings as well as cultural activities, developed my communication skills professional aswell as obtained advance computer skills working on LM,SAP basic and workflow as well as Microsoft office, outlook be compiled, co-ord

Flexable and challenging
Samancor give their plersonell the opportunaty to do courses work related. Managers are concidered. There are opportunaties to work towards promotions.

High level of interaction with Stakeholder.
Lots of opportunities but one has to be patient as people to not move easily from their jobs. The rate of leavers in HR is very low. The absence performance bonus, as disappointing it was, managers have accepted the disappointment and have moved along.
Pros: Being resolute and decisive to achieve set performance goals.
Cons: Other than ergonomics, budget constraints have hampered progress on most needed transformation projects, training and development.

Typical working day at samancor MFC
We are a target orientated team,purchase track record proves itself and the awards we get.there is constant change to the environment like when the Loco is the take material and the constant traffic of moving machinery in and out of our plant area is amazing and we adhere to safety.

Cons: Constant changes in shifts and weather.

Excellent learning curve with experience in different avenues of training and human capital
I work with all different types of people. I feel stagnated in my current position. i was electrical training facilitator at Samancor for 8 yearsThen moved over to training coordinator thinking I would get more experience in Hr because I also completed my HRD Degree but unfortunately its not the case
