Going to insurance learning academy helped me
I now can handle difficult people, Can calm down angry clients Do calculations of costing Exellent with admin and call centre able to work as a team mamber Willing to work overtime to service clients

Excellent learning curve
I have 5 years Administration experience which has equipped me with strong work ethics. I have developed a high level of proficiency, confidentiality and professionalism. I have Inbound customer care call centre experience which has taught me proper customer service etiquette. Daily handling email responses from Brokers, Clients and Relationship Managers with regards to amending or enquirers for all personal lines policies. Issue broker Appointments for clients moving to new brokers, cancelling policies, drafting Response documents and updating spreadsheets, calling brokers and or Clients when necessary, all other admin functions for Personal Lines policies.

Great learning opportunities
Great opportunities with low chances of progress. I need a place to learn as well as to progress according to my abilities and efforts and work put in. A typical work day is not bad. Just not excited to go to work. Being the youngestbin the team only has its advantages when you out perform yourself. Teamwork is great but only goes up to a certain where communication to you is not done well but you have to keep composure. I used to put in at least an hour extra because of work but there was no sense of achievement every time even if the work is done. I have learnt a lot professionally and gained knowledge and wisdom on how to manage time and organize my work to its most positive result. I enjoy excelling and learning in the process. I also enjoy friendly competition that keeps me at my best. The most challenging aspect of the job just making sure that everyone, client internal or external is happy at the desired time. All the rest is just work

Excellent opportunity to grow on my skills and knowledge
our company is a semi-formal setting that provides the employees opportunities to grow. it is based on the principle that no matter employee or client everyone is treated fairly and honestly. the employees are a close knit group of people who communicate on every level. I've had opportunities within the company to experience different aspects of the company. the only problem was that it was on a short term or contract basis. i really enjoyed working with clients as i have learnt that i can really help solve problems by listening to them. their problems helped me do my current job at an even better standard as i knew how to approach the call and even ask the correct questions when speaking to the clients.
Pros: i learn a lot about how the company operates and how the processes of the company operates under.
Cons: the position i have now does not have a transfer option. as i have to relocate urgently

The best Candidate
being productive is the norm of the day. I work with people who is supportive and we get alone very very well. I learned that team work is key and always delegate to make the work easier and faster. I I enjoy solving problems and definitely seeing someone happy after i have assisted them. The most challenging is to work with people that is constantly negative and you have to work your way around it.
Pros: There isnt much growth opportunities as people get pre-selected based on preferences
Cons: My working hours are from 8:30 to 17:00 which is convenient for me as I have time to drop my child of at school

Performance driven
Santam is one of the largest and oldest short term insurance companies in South Africa, as well as one of the most successful. This is a reflection of the company's hard working loyal employees. Majority of the company’s employees having been with the company for years and continue to speak highly of the company’s culture and corporate ethics when it comes to how it operates. My greatest learning from Santam is the important of clear effective communication and inclusion. The company is dominated mostly by Afrikaans speaking people to some English is sometimes a problem therefore clear simple communication is vital in getting correct assistant and support one requires. I have also learnt that people at Santam are very resistant to change therefore the company always finds means to include or rather inform employees of little changes that happens so that it’s not overwhelming, so it can be slowly accepted.

Sufficient knowledge gained
home away from home ,colleagues were a combination of crazy ,sexy ,cool and also not so cool at times a feel of mellow dramatic,morbidness that however occurred when the work load was intense.
