Great place to learn and grow as an individual as well as employee

Great company overall, credit control is a hard department to work in these hard times. So it was essential to have a solid supervisor and management support. Sometimes this lacked but overall benefits and rewards given to staff are amazing. Really make employees feel they have something to look forward too.

Pros: Great rewards
Cons: Difficult to move out of this department

Challanging and exciting environment, using the latest technology and project methodoligeis

Working for Sasfin is both challanging and exciting. Working with a healthy split of middle aged people and millinials. Using the latest technology and project methodoligeis. Since it is a small company, an individual holds more than one role and has many different responsibilities. Sasfin aims to contribute to society by going beyond a bank to enable growth in the business and global wealth of their clients. As a result we take extra care in how we run our business.

Pros: Great exposure to cuting edge technology. Nimble company due to it's size. Agile methodologies well adapted.
Cons: No work life balance. One resource has many roles and responsibilities by managing multiple projects at the same time.

Excellent learning curve and growth opportunity

- A typical work day is challenging in a smaller bank with a centralized marketing and communications department. No 2 days look alike! - My relationship with my co-workers is good, the team that I have worked with is small and functions well under pressure. - What you have learnt - this is a smaller company than I have worked for previously, and have had exposure to many of the communications and marketing disciplines that I was not previously exposed to. I have also had the opportunity to learn more about the banking and financial services industry as a whole. - The most challenging aspects of the job is that it is multi-disciplinary with extremely tight deadlines and low creative budgets.

Pros: Dynamic environment
Cons: Long working hours
