Stepping Stone

This is an excellent position for anyone looking to break into logistics. When you do get the odd thank you and great job it can be very rewarding. typical work day consists of checking up on our clients current sales, how they are tracking for the month reporting back to them if need be on a daily/weekly/ monthly basis, A LOT of email and adhoc telephone queries. I have definitely learned a bit more patience and have learnt that its okay to sometimes say No. the most challenging part of my day/job is not being able to be in control of every aspect of this role. i.e you have to sometimes wait for others to do their part before you can complete your task and get back to your clients, and when answers are expected or wanted immediately this is not always possible and gets frustrating for all involved.

Learning Curve

Company is understaffed putting immense pressure on current employees, management promised increases that have not materialized. Co workers are for the most part not happy with workload, challenging to deal with rude customers but can be rewarding when your clients show appreciation for the work that you do. My relationship with co-workers is great we all work well as a team. A LOT of adhoc queries on email and on the phone.
