My work

It is great, I Regards to the environment, but hactic at times too demanding, we only have one HR department for 5 Call center companies and my primary respobility is recruiting which i am solely responsible for, from screening of cvs to selections hiring the right candidates. I am also responsible for IR and the HC inbox. I enjoy a challenge cause obviously that is when we learn. During the lockdown we had only 500 plus employees working and I was solely responsible for the HR department while working from home and of course having to visit the office whenever we had disciplinary enquiries.

Pros: It is a good place to grow and learn
Cons: Great working environment and the working hours are good

The company is okay the pressure is alright the take home salary is bad as well as the management opportunities are very few every month agents leave

I have learn how to work with customers over a phone communication skills.

In my company we dial 140 calls and make 120 account a day.We do enjoy its with my collegues because we have a very strong relationship .I have learn how to communicate over a phone and to handle customers who are angry,how to solve problems with customers.

Pros: It is great company with opportunities,if you do well they recorgnise you.Its a company with full of energy.
Cons: We work eight hours a day,sometimes we work overtimes.On weekends we work only six hours.

Working for a call center with over a thousand staff and working 2 shifts was the difficult part as I had to adjust to accommodate both shifts with aircon and lighting. The nice thing about being a facility manager is that everyday you have different challenges. Educating staff on how to assist the company on saving money is a big deal for me.

Pros: Hard working person that take pride in every job no matter how small
Cons: Sometimes the long hours of work can get to a person when U have call outs late at night and you have to work the next day

Great working opportunity

I received great training and experience development. Team work was one of my best parts with my co-workers. Conducting outbound calls and communication with clients made me learn more and increase my fluency in communication

Pros: Promotion was limited

For learning and experience its oka

All l can say is it's okay to avoid being unemployed ..no increment only for management so if u don't reach your target there's nothing .you will be earning that basic for the whole time you working here even if u a top collector the basixdoes not go up

3200 is not much when you did not reach your target and the basic itself it's very little because things are extremely expensive especially if you have kids

Excellent learning curve

I have learned a lot since I started working there, working with different people daily. I enjoy solving queries as the more I solve queries is the more I learn.

Pros: the company always givs everyone opportunities to grow
Cons: the hours are perfect and not even working on weekends, but there are no benefits like medical aid,pension fnds etc
