My typical day at work is just normal and I have good relationship with my colleagues. What I have learned is that nothing comes easily without hard work and to also respect and greet every single person person. What I enjoy most is working with people.

Informative industry

• Responsible for driving Sales and Turnover. • Creating the ultimate customer experience. • Managing the store expenses and budgets/ financial planning. • Involved in everything, from scheduling, training and leading, the team, merchandise management, opening and closure of the store, maintaining visual standards, managing shrinkage, monitoring stock flow and maintaining house keeping standards.

Cons: During Easter and Festive times there are usually extended trading hours.

Excellent learning

I really enjoyed working with my co workers & we had a good relationship with the,even if one of the staff got a problem i manage to give her some advise .I've learned lot of things in this company .I enjoyed every single minute in the store ,the most challenging is that if there is no communication with your co workers.

Excellent relationships with customers and co-workers

My relatoinship with my co-work we almost like a family i can trust then if we work we work as a team together .I have learnt alot stuff in managment how to work with custormers of type of custormers the thing that like the most is coming to work and seeing my and working with then i enjoy myself working with a team that likes to work together.I like a challenging in my life because i like to learnt to so that i can know what is in for me

I work hard look forward for new things I come up with new ideas ,if there is some new company policies or Skills to be learnt I'm a fast learner, I protect the companies assets for future success

Good experience

Working in retail has been a great experience I've learned a lot in business world even though I dont really spent time with my family I'm always at work that makes me to be an expect on my work or duties. I'm not just a cashier I also work on the floor helping out customers explaining promos and which material is cheaper than the other which material is softer than the other and which material is gonna last long so customer service is what I do every day.Dealing with difficult customers is another thing I have to just cool them down and be professional remember customer is always right .I'm working on the phone as well for enquiries and lost account card and credit increase. Filling the documents accurately

Pros: All rounder I'm not just a cashier
Cons: Long hours and working on sundays as well

Great learning curve

My normal working would day entail, Providing excellent customer service, Filling and signing off daily reports, Cashing up of cashiers, Handling the telephone and customer queries, Receiving and consolidation of stock, Assisting Coin (Cash in transit), Setting of daily action plans, Merchandising of stock, Motivating staff to achieve daily targets, facilitating and participating in stock takes. I've learnt that should not mix business with pleasure and always to keep the working relationship professional. What I enjoy most about my job is setting targets and achieving them. The most challenging aspects of my job from a managers point is doing so much with little resources eg. reaching targets with very little stock, staff absenteeism ect.
