I have obtain a BSC Mathematics and Statistic Science degree my university career and majored in Statistic I have experience in strategic sourcing while executing ways to save money for the company and I completed a diploma in Procurement and Supply to enhance my skills. Currently I am an origin co coordinator which has helped me with managerial skills and being analytic in every project I do. I am a quick learner who loves challenges and working with numbers. In addition to my personal skills, I am a loyal, patience and respectful person who enjoys working with people. I strongly love working with numbers, quick thinker, accurate with my speed.

Excellence in customer service and hardworking

34 male Indian looking to grow my work experiences and push myself as I’m a hard worker and love working with people. I’m a perfectionist in what I do and like to see success in everything I do. As my current job requires tha where I manage the store on my own and always determined for greatness in everything I do. I’m friendly with my staff and customers, great listener, creative, solve problems effectively and a disciplined individual. Typical work day requires hard work which challenges me and brings out my creativity in greatness for my company I’m currently in but as I’m a hard work and perfectionist it increases my learning abilities to do more everyday which is a great challenge.

SAP cutover project has been massive in terms of rolling out SAP to all African countries as well.

I am 30 years in the retail industry. Worked 29 years at Pick'n Pay and joined Shoprite last year. I work with a lot of consultants from around the world and different cultures which makes the work environment exciting. We learn from one another every day-Knowledge sharing. I share a lot of knowledge of SAP with my work colleagues as well. I love working on SAP, like the data aspect of analyzing, configuring, The part I enjoy the most is knowledge transfer, training and the implementation of new SAP enhancements. The most challenging aspect is to get the business users to change by using SAP and its processes. People don't like change, especially if you worked on a system for the past 10 years, and now you have to change your way of working and thinking. I have been in management for a long time, but I love interacting with people, so I get along with all types of people.

Pros: I have been promoted on may occasions,as I am very goal driven ,and believe success comes with hard work .
Cons: I do not have a problem with working long hours or going the extra mile,as I have done this throughout my career

Learnings as Demand Planner

jMy day includes adjusting forecasts on a store & DC level and adjusting forecasts on a store & DC level I will also compile reports with all my analysis of findings I have a very good relationship with my co workers I have learnt that the FMCG industry is much more intense than people think and the work done here is much more worth that what textbooks can provide I enjoy most working with suppliers and b being able to the see the effects of the work I put in being able

Great experience

Great experience gained on SAP syst and improving communication skill with suppliers who are customers and also within my work environment and working with people Improve the knowledge of creditors clerk that will come in use in future and also improve the accuracy and meeting deadlines
