Education alone is not enough without the practical experience. One has to take advises from the experienced people on the job but with cautions so as to avoid safety compromising. The method of performing a certain task as stated in theory may not yield the desired results underground due to many factor ignored during the construction of such a method on surface. NEVER COMPROMISE ON SAFETY! A mineral with blood costs the company more money than it would have, had it not mined at all.

Customer service,communication, team work
Working with people, enjoying issuing stock. I work as team work with my co-workers, and learnt how to handle customers and how to communicating with customers. You must be loyal to customers and co-workers, Most challenging things is to work under pressure
Pros: Sibanyestillwater is good company. I its give you more challenging. It teach lot of things , to work as supervisor to coodinating stock. Communication and customer service.It teach me their values

HR Manager/Director
Very challenging environment given the current trade union situation. But also rewarding. The situation can also be unpredicable, given the gold & platinum prices.(Many retreenchments since 2010)

Hard worker and fast learner
I worked as Computer operator, HR Admin reliever and appointed as Junior clerk am 36 years old, As I was affected by retrenchment on my current job at Sibanyestillwater/use to be Sibanyegold, I real think and believe that the job on the advertised post/email could be mine. I'm still young and healthy, I have five kids to look after that I'm raising them without their mom (wife passed away 2015) the old one is now 13years and the last one is two years now, I still have a lot to do to raise them, without a job to me is going to be tough.

EXPERT IN ALL UNDERGROUND MINING OPERATIONS
last work i was running 4 shafts doing old gold vamings,open up , reclaiming,equiping and vacuum mining very sucsesfully. reporting to 4 shaft managers daily on safety and production. doing montly planning with all 4 shaft managers.

EXPERT IN ALL UNDERGROUND MINING OPERATIONS
was running 4 shafts doing open up,reclaiming,vampings,equiping. knows all stoping,development,shaft sinking,vacuum mining. started in the mine as a miner and workinking myself up to shiftboss. optaining my mine oveseers certificate, starting to act and later apointed. i am a hard worker and always get my targets. i know how to work an delicate workers and send people for training. will all my years of experiance in mining i can and will be a gread value to the company
