I have successfully completed my Risk Management Diploma with I.Q.Academey (Pty) Ltd. I also had the opportunity to complete various in service training programs introducing me to mining operations and procedures. I am currently employed as an HR Development Officer underground. Some of my duties included consistently delivering excellent training and supervising, providing support to my immediate manager, liaising with colleagues on various levels and meeting production and safety standards. I am a team-player, thrive under pressure and have a passion for training and developing new employees and developing and implementing new training systems and procedures. I feel the skills I have developed as a Human Resource Development Officer, surpass those of which are expected and believe that I would be an asset to your company.

Keeping the wheels turning
Work at different winders everyday Normal chats, dont get involved in there lives Working on different winders and sinking shafts I know more how things work

Money is not always going to make a person happy.
I hold the following qualifications: Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law (Honors), Advance Certificate in Labour Law, National Diploma in HRM, Certificate in Labour Relations Management, Certificate in Managing Employment Process (Recruitment and Selection). I have learned to analyse situation and people and react based on the current situation. I also learned that it is important to keep your emotions in check if you are dealing with diverse environment and learn their culture at the same time so as to understand the reason behind their behaviour.

The company does have a job security. as they dismiss workers with no really grounds
i worked for this company since it took over from goldfields in 2012. The company has grown big and showing a sign of growing more bigger but there is no job security. i really enjoy doing my job here but my relationship with staff is not that great. i have a good challenging job that requires skills and knowledge what i have learnt during my time here is that this company does not have a good culture for example to value its assets

Excellent place to gain experince
I have Bsc in mining engineering with about 5 years experience in mining industry.I have worked as miner and production supervisor for 2 years in production. I am currently working as a strata control officer since june 2016. My work entails doing regular undergroubd visits in order to assess ground conditions, support compliance and make recommendations accordingly.

Lerning curve
I really enjoyed what I do, my job as a safety officer. I work on a planned schedule in terms of safety inspections underground and general audits. I am a peoples person, I encourage team work in all aspects. Through my carrier I have learnt that we as people our thinking is not the same so each group need a different approach when it comes into accepting safety hazards / transgressions, people will normal take it as punishment and not as a learning curve. I enjoy being a safety officer, but what I mostly enjoy I when there are no accident The challenge aspect in safety is to actual drive safety in terms of action plans and introducing new strategies

Opportunities readily available
I responsibility is to overseer the health and safety of 2400 total employees at one shaft, which is deep level gold mining environment. I also have target to produce 400kg of gold from this labour force, making revenue of R200mil before costing involved. I am responsible to create sustainable relationships between management and different unions affiliated within our organization. Set medium and long term plan for business. From previous background of deep level mining I have learnt that team work and engaging employees the zero harm and optimum productivity is achievable. I enjoy opportunity given to me as individual to run such big operation, and my coaching to develop new culture of mining. The challenges range from non transparent way of report issues for fair of victimization etc, engineering breakdowns that are not dealt with in professional way and lastly red tape with regards to policies and procedures that need to be followed for procurement within organization.

Working for Sibanye is a good experience. I was working very well with my co-worker
Working for Sibanye Stillwater is the best experience of my life, you experience the mining of platinum from the scratch till the last process. I'm a very kind person naturally which makes it easy to handle all kinds of people. I have learned working under pressure and being creative as a planner. I enjoy bringing changes at a work place. I enjoy giving a helping hand. satisfying all departments is very challenging.

hard is to order material Relationship with my worker was excellent I learnt to respect and organise I i enjoyed to work in preture and work harder athe challenge i especially issmawork with deferential people and how to handle the pressure of my work
