Siemens Pty Ltd Reviews

Excellent learning curve regarding Purchasing, SAP and Sales for youngsters

A typical workday is filled with the whole spectrum of Supply Chain Management work, such as procurement, vendor management and sourcing for direct and indirect materials. The company culture is particularly favorable towards young people with lots of opportunities for career development. I have learned to work with SAP R/2 and SAP R/3, and one gains lots of experience in reporting from SAP into Excel and the Excel interface. This was something that I particularly enjoyed. But all the compliance procedures are very time consuming and cumbersome and a novice in the organization has a steep curve to overcome in learning how to work with utmost diligence and complete staff work.

Pros: Great platform for learning Procurement, Compliance and Company Diligence / Vendor Management
Cons: You become a jack of all trades and master of none - the company system and procedures are very long and cumbersome and one does not specialise in anything.

Excellent Payroll with High Perfomance

As a Payroll, Compensation and Employee Benefits Professional, I will be involved and giving advice to the organization in Human Resources Strategy to add on value to a Corporate Business Strategy, Vision and Mission. I will be a valuable contributor in the organization’s mission to succeed and give my input and advice on the Company Internal Equity regarding equal pay for equal job worth by advising on the standard Job Benchmarking and Base Pay Structure using the reputable survey sources with the involvement of internal Management Task Team to work towards avoiding salary disparity. I will ensure that there is a consistent and timeous communication within the Management and Staff. Ensuring that Information regarding the company compensation philosophy is accurate at all time as well as any changes on benefits and salary increases will be communicated in time after reaching an agreement with the relevant parties (i.e. Management, Bargaining Council Forum, EXCO, Board of Directors, etc.)

Pros: Growth with the Compensation, Payroll and Benefits
Cons: Long working hours
