Financial Project Administrator

• Overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations • Maintaining invoicing, payments and keeping financial records for the project • Contract management, ensuring payments invoiced in accordance with Master services, Service Level and Back to Back agreements. • Monitor and administer payments on the 10 year R2.6bn project budget (R200M p/a) updated • Providing financial reports (budget vs actual expenditure) • Engage service providers to remain on track in monthly and biweekly Service Handover and Billing meetings • Coordinating & monitoring with project team members to accomplish the financials within the contractual obligations • Communication and Liaising with Stakeholders and clients and providing guidance to project teams • Asset and Inventory Management (Assets valued at R10.2m) • Ensuring projects are administered in compliance with the BBPO’s requirements • Establishing and maintaining project documentation for record keeping

On-site Network Engineer at O.R Tambo Airport Providing 2rd Level Network Support to IT service desk. Looking after 9 intarnational Airports, providing High availability solutions for both LAN and WAN. Optimising network performance and availability and in depth monitoring using RiverBed, Cisco Prime, HP NNM Tool, for Monitoning in day to day. changing vlans according to the requsted, reporting failed uplinks and configuring L3 Connected links

Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills

I like a challenge , I never say no. I work well amongst people and I have a good working ethic. My relationship with coworkers is extremely well, as we get along with each other as a family (after all we spend most of our time at work). I enjoy speaking to the end users, it boost my communication skills an breaks language barriers.

I have learned lot of things in this industry

Its nice to start learning in the big industry and not everything is about money experience is the most important thing I had so many qualifications but it was tough until I got the chance to gain experience

Learning curve

i have learnt that with team work nothing is impossible, in a team when one member of the team is not contributing the whole team takes the heat. mostly enjoy new challenges course for me that is another way to up my skills new problem new solution

Working from home

I real enjoy working in Mthatha area i work from home. I report daily on my remote manager and update with current issue on the remote area that i am deployed in. i have learned to independently. The most challenging thing is get calls from different clients in different areas at the same time.

Good learning experience

good company for entry level positions but not much movements in between,as in promotions are not likely to happen as planned. the reporting structure is clear, but sometimes business needs are not fully supported

Pros: good channel for start of a career
Cons: unclear scope of work at times
