I excel on every task given

I worked at Skynet as aData Capture night shift only for 4years. I had a good relationship with my colleagues , we completed our tasks as a team. I have learned that what is good for the company is good for me. I enjoyed giving the daily reports as it is the reflection of our daily perfomance. The most challenging was the shift (night) as I need to be alert at all times so that I do not wrong information.

Pros: The company provide with skills , so there is a room for growth.
Cons: Have to work sitted for 8 to 9 hours.

I have learnt a lot about the courier industry

The driver and i would go around delivering parcels,i was the one to run around but i enjoyed it due to the fact that i got to meet new people. I provided excellent customer service. I ensured all parcels were scanned before leaving the warehouse.

Cons: Very long working hours

I learned how a logistic warehouse is operated.

I am an un-contracted delivery driver and I have been trying to secure a contract as warehouse clerk and forklift driver at SkyNet and I have been sidelined, and outcast because I have no internal connection. As always I have no one to help me get job security. I am an orphan and I have no one to help me or guide me. All I have I have earned for myself and I will continue to do so until I get an opportunity to work. Good learning curve

It was nice working there cos they treated me in a good way. I've learned so much there. I enjoyed each and every minute working there. Each an everyone was friendly willing to teach me what I didn't know.

Pros: Opportunities of promotions aren't rare

National SHEQ and Compliance Officer.

I have been the Branch Manager at Skynets largest hub in South Africa, then promoted to Project Manager. I then studied Compliance Management at UCT when I was promoted to National SHEQ and Compliance Officer. The role I am currently in is extremely rewarding. I get to guide the company and plan the SHEQ program including writing the company policies and procedures. I present my work reports every month in our Exco meetings and am part of the senior management team. My interaction with all employees in the company on SHEQ, Compliance, auditing is extremely rewarding as the change brought about is through my knowledge and love for the job I am currently fulfilling.

Pros: Rewarding and job satisfaction
Cons: Long hours

Excellant

a typical work day is when we have deliveries that should be delivered before 10am and they more than 3 stops we have a good relationship as i always reach the target i have learned that for you to enjoy your job you must first love your job reaching the target everyday is to make sure that every client get his/her parcel
