Good company to work for, but is not for uplifting it's people no growth with in the business for young people Salarys not market related mostly concern about Management.I have learned a lot over the year's People ar Fantastic i personally have a great team. My experience with the company for the past 13 was excellent.It's time for me to share what i have learned over the years to others and starts a new adventure.

Learning a new financial system called syspro

I have learned a lot from this company. a new financial system called Syspro, different calculations in excel. in our department, we as co-workers have a great relationship, always eager to assist one another when needed. my work day isn't a full work day, I don't have a lot of tasks to complete, if a lot of containers comes in my day is full when not then is quit. the most challenging aspects of my job is when they need to me to calculate the landed cost of a product which hasn't arrived. I need to request certain information from the supplier as well from our forwarders.

Pros: working hours is awesome
Cons: at the moment, there are no vacancies in finance open

An achievement

My day would start with morning Mini business meetings which covers the following topics Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and the 5s system. Conduct a housekeeping observation walkabout. Conduct quality control inspections on the production line. Compile a SHEQ report on non conformances identified. I am able to motivate and encourage co workers to be team players and get the job done. I enjoy facing new challenges and excelling at what I do. Getting Production and Maintenance Managers to except that safety must be our priority no matter the circumstance is the most challenging aspect for me, however their subordinates will gladly agree.

Cons: Getting buy in from all manangers
