Excellent learning curve
I completed my matric in 2005,completed my electrical engineering N6 higher certificate in 2009,I have just recently completed my avionics aircraft instrument mechanic apprenticeship and looking forward in working using the skills i have learned ans also willing to learn new skills. I am a goal driven individual willing to even study more to equip my career. I am a great asset to any company that will invest in me and will provide great productivity

Good for engaging with management a lot and get to be hands on with any new platforms
Every working day is exceptional, the are calls of emergencies every hours and all employees are respectful as well as helpful. My co-workers and i assist one another, got a tendance of challenging each other with what one has learned during his or her runs. We also help each other with problems that arise. I learnt a lot from my colleagues like how to use vpn, using Citrix. What we enjoy mostly is the quizes we offer each other every Friday as well as a little home work we asign to each other every month to helps us grow in our respective fields.

Engineering Practices, Standard Practices, Surface Preparation of new and old surfaces, Brush application, Spot repairs, Blending In, Spray gun application , Stop and filling ,Finishing coat application ,Polishing, Mixing and matching of colors ,Finishing preparation ,Using of multi spray system , Paint stripping, Masking of surface to be painted ,Painting of interior of aircraft, Stencils transfer punches, Application of decals and Workshop standard practices. DUTIES Assisting artisans with the all job must be done on exterior and interior of aircraft in painting. Monitoring apprentices on job training and to follow rules and regulations. Implementation of health and safety that must be follows. Management on resources apprentices are using. Preparations of tools to be used by artisans. Assisting verifications of all work is done to be signed off.

WORKING FOR MY COMPANY HAS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES - ADVANTAGES BEING THAT IT HAS ONE OF THE BEST INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE WORLD AND THE DISADVANTAGES ARE THAT IF YOU ARE NOT A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN, FOR WHICH I AM NOT, YOU ARE BOUND TO GET STUCK IN THE POSITION THAT YOU ARE IN FOR A LONG TIME WITHOUT PROSPECTS OF BEING APPOINTED TO A SENIOR POSITION.

Challenging
My company is diverse with environmental links as ee operate aircrafts in the sky which affect the environment through heat generation,gas emissions,fuel injectins into the atmosphere.in the technical side of SAA we emit heat,gas,odours,toxicins from aircraft systems and maintenance consumables.we uphold strict legislation governed by FAA,EASA and SA-SAA in order to produce required quality standards to ensure safe reliable flying.
Pros: flying benefit and understanding avaition industry
Cons: Physical exhaustion from workinhlg with heavy objects and in awkward postions.

Pros: Hard work, team player, good personality, trouble shooter, problem solving skills, time management, ambitious, career oriented.
Cons: Hate waking up early hence I always relocate closer to work.
