I have grown alot since starting at Spar but I want a new challenge.

I work very well with all my co workers. I have grown alot since I started working at SPAR. I obtained a National Diploma in payroll Administration and the company gave me time to do so while I was studying. Spar also gave me the opportunity to work in my field of profession after obtaining my diploma. At Spar we are treated as family and not just a number. This is the first place where the MD knows all the employees names by heart. The work load can be a bit challenging when I don't receive my payroll information on time.

Cons: No prospects of growing in current position

Good learning curve

Great organization to work for, requires attention to detail, fast paced environment, high competition in the organization, mix of culture which is a good thing. Reference Spar Distribution center EC Perishables 041 404 5234.

Cons: Long working hours and overtime sometimes pays sometimes not

I must say that I have grown a lot since I've started.

I started off as a Administration clerk. I was very eager to learn more in my department and asked if I can help out on the warehouse side. When an opportunity opened for a validation clerk, I applied and got the position. After I worked as a validation clerk I wanted to learn more and asked if I could go for training with our payroll lady. I decided to study and obtained my diploma in payroll Administration. After a while another opportunity came to pass as a payroll clerk and I was approached by our company executive director offering me the position. It is a stable company and plenty of opportunities to grow.

Pros: Opportunity to grow within the business
Cons: Working during December
