A very good learning curve and experience in the retail industry

MMy main duty is to provide general administration work to the category buyer. Such tasks include sending sales figures to the relevant suppliers, sending and loading deals for lines that are on promotion, amending pricing to ensure that it corresponds with what the suppliers have on their system, listing new lines, sending out price updates to retailers and general replenishment activities. I have a professional working relationship with every employee especially in the marketing department. i have learnt the importance of being open minded in the working environment, and that lessons from more experienced employees is very important.

Pros: it is a dynamic company that allows for flexibility in the work place.
Cons: less opportunities for promotion

GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT

For the past 5 years we have been working under enormous pressure because of people leaving the company, well there was no time to tell the suppliers that we are short staffed, the accounts had to be paid , during that perion i have found myself having to learn all the Creditors functions in order to get through with my targets, Times were hard , putting up extra hours but in all that i have developed a graet sense of achievement with regards my abilities as a team worker and ho job is harder for me, i can safely say, now i can safely say im well polished in my field.

Pros: THE STYLE OF MANAGEMENT IS VERY CASUALY AND FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT
Cons: TAKING TOO LONG TOO REPALCE PEOPLE AND CAUSES STRAIN TO THE REMAINING WORKERS RESULTING IN PUTTING UP LONG HOURS
