- The Demanding, very fast paced veterinary hospital, leading a team of 48 staff including 4 veterinarians and para-veterinary staff. Very diverse role which include staff management, conflict resolution, recruiting, disciplinary actions and HR. Operating budget of R5-6 million/ year. Long term projects such as financial improvements and policy making. Day to day operations including client service, veterinary drug control and compliance with South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) rules. Managing a multi-million Rand budget. Also authorized by the SAVC as an Animal Welfare assistant, performing certain veterinary functions.

Enjoyment in constant law amendments an training

Learning all laws pertaining to animal husbandry, teaching an educating people on the correct way of been a responsible owner. Responding on any animal rescue. Check kennels for any sick or injured animal an then start with routine inspections and complaints, in a 120km raduis. Working with the health department, saps, traffic department, and different prosecuters, security companies. Supervising staff, implementing code of conduct. Training of staff. To be able to trust my life in my staffs hand's. Staff know they can call me anytime and we will resolve an issue
