HSE Officer, Responsible for the health and safety

I am currently in the process of completing a health and safety management diploma and SACPCMP registration; I am also currently a skills development facilitator and a internal trainer. I have 7 years experience in the health, safety and environmental occupation. Having gained a diverse range of relevant experience in the oil, gas, ship yard and Construction industry I write with great interest to be considered for the above career opportunity with your company as recently advertised. I consider myself to be a very responsible, passionate and dedicated individual, who is willing to learn as much as I can, in order to perform at my optimum level, at all times. I am friendly and work well under pressure. I am a team worker as I feel it is important in an Engineering/ construction sector to have these skills.

Exposure to new things

I enjoy my work at Summit, always something new to learn. I enjoy the people i work with. I enjoy how everyone pulls in one direction. i like the branded shirts, it makes you feel part of a bigger picture.

Pros: yes, there is room for growth
Cons: long hours on a friday
