Excellent learning curve

Hallo Working in technicrete has been afforded me the opportunity to grow myself, I started working in technicrete in 2006 as a trainee mechanical fitter, I spend 15months in Tshwane South West College for practical training,on completion of the training I worked at the factory as a fitter apprentice where I was teaching myself about the operation of a plant as well until I qualify as mechanical fitter in 2012,in 2013 I applied for production foreman post, as a production foreman I have a responsibility of make sure that the plant run effectively without hiccups,in order to achieve this I am always proactive,as I plan my day wisely. Ordering of raw materials, preventative maintenance, well motivated stuff keeps me going and makes my job a lot more easier.

Normal working day

my day starts with morning team meeting to aligning team with the daily , weekly and monthly production targets , then checking and ordering of daily raw materials need for all machines , that all machines have updated production plans , ordering of tooling for machines , check , maintain and reduce scrap level and reworks , quality checks and making sure all products are produced to specification , making sure all employees are complying with health and safety regulations , problem solving , submit daily production reports to operations manager , check absenteeism , time and attendance , disciplinarys , assist with breakdowns , planning for next shift and shift hand over to next supervisor. I enjoy working under presure in a fast pace environment

Excellent learning curve

Good learning curve. No room for growth. Happy to work with the people on branch level. Unhealthy environment to work in due to unfairness Feels like its time to move om as my values are not the same as the values the try to love by
