It's a challenge

It's a lot of Multi tasking because of being short staffed. I start my day by e-mailing management the previous days production figures. i also do all the receipting. I then move on to capturing all issues on Syspro. I then issue the stores with daily stock counts. i do all transfers between warehouses. I am also involved in re-specking all the Bill of Materials (Costing). I handle all HR related cases. I report directly to the factory administrator. The most challenging thing i did here was run the entire factory. The Factory manager was suspended for three months and I just took over the reigns. My experience and will to perform allowed me to increase targets and produce more.

It's a challenge

Hectic from the word go do receipting of jobs data capturing morning production meeting planning for each department liaise with suppliers liaise with owners and senior management administer daily stock counts perform monthly stock-takes good working relationship with the people on the floor haven't learnt anything but educated a lot. getting production outputs with less and unskilled staff is the biggest challenge.

Pros: Keeps me alert and on my toes
Cons: no benefits
