Excellent learning curve

Airplane manufacturing company producing sling airplanes. I am employed under the Sonaca Sonair project S200. We build certified aircrafts and ship them to international countries. The company is growing and employing more people each month. The company is very strict when it comes to sealing, racism and fraud. The workers are united and have representatives, and I am one of the representatives. It gets busy when we have to deliver a shipment whereby overtime starts to kick in but all in all the company is well ran. The downside is the Financials. They don't pay market related salaries.

Great company to learning curve

I've been the for about a year and I've learnt more than I bargained for. I've been exposed to production processes, customer service at an international level and have learnt a great deal how logistics operate. To be at that heart of this entire process is truly amazing.

Pros: Great opportunity to expose yourself to industries I've never thought about, being surrounded by Innovative thinkers and supportive colleagues.
Cons: Minimum wage cheque

Learning curve

We manufacturer,check parts,modify, pack kits for customers eg we have sonaca as their biggest clients. They is lots of pressure. Putting together of the ready to fly aircrafts. Very little overtime and at a very low rate. If you work hard you get promoted but with no pay increase. Everyone one gets the same salary does not matter what qualification you have.30 minutes lunch with no tea times.
