Great way to learn work independence.

This company is small hence one ends up doing multiple jobs and playing multiple roles, this has allowed me to be able to make unsupervised decisions and to grow in an environment where one has to learn self-management and be able to meet deadlines with nor supervision. A typical work day for me can go from making sure employee files are up to date, to following up on invoices from clients to having to fill a gap that an absent co-worker has left. I mainly make sure that all company resources are as productive as they can be, I work directly with the managing director to make sure that people are compensated fairly, are in a conducive environment and that the agency is making enough revenue to keep things running smoothly. The biggest lesson I have learnt is that you can do anything that you set your mind to as some roles are out of my field of study however my eagerness to learn has proven positive.

Pros: Great place to learn to monitor your own growth and to push yourself to grow daily and to maximize your own potential by always doing more than what is expected.
Cons: No benefits, basic salary only. Being in the deep end all the time and not getting work reviews can make one think they are growing even when they aren't.

Great Learning experience

A typical work day at Niche starts with a cup of coffee followed by going through emails, invoicing clients and paying suppliers, lunch around midday followed by replying to employee concerns, attending office mattes and making sure the general operation of the office is well maintained. In between tasks I walk around and have chats with different employees and I've developed special and unique relationships with each of them. At Niche I've learnt how to swim in the deep end even when I don't think I'm ready which is something I enjoyed as it taught be to push my limits to see my capabilities. The most challenging part is working with a difficult superior however I learnt to learn from the experience and use it to help me grow in understanding different characters and personalities.

Pros: Company works with big clients and they pay well
Cons: No Benefits, Long work hours

Good learning opportunity and gained valuable experience

8:30am - 5pm working hours We have a very fast moving, busy environment in the agency. Co-workers get along well, although on occasion people can but heads and disagree. This is a small office so often these discussions can be heard by others. I have learnt a lot about digital strategy and how to handle pressurised situations. The people often treat each other as family which is good most of the time. Time keeping of meetings could be better internally.

Pros: Good learning curve, fun environment to be in
Cons: Lack some processes, may of working could be more efficient
