Great place for new people in the industry. You might have thw potential to grow but it wont come by.so its beat if you there to up skill your passion and feed your curiosity of learning. You get to deal with both internal and external problems .your guest complaints and staff insubordination acts and the financial side of maintaining a budget in regards to outsourced staff and hired operating equipment like cutlery, plates etc. And meating the monthly targets set by management.

My daily routine including my job description
My daily routine communicate with morning shifts ,listen about the outstanding items or some information about hotel occupancy, brief the staff ,check all the bookings ,confirmed with guests telephonically if the times are still the same as per their bookings .check the stock at the bar ,communicate with Chefs about the menu,If I'll be working at the conference again touchbase with event co ordinator as well as the organiser of the event.When the food is served on time to the guests, sometimes when the food orders and beverages are not in good standard ,then thats when I had to be very apologetic to the guests and explain why we did that happened
