Learned how to work as a team. Making sure all sites are legally complying

At times working for the company i had to manage and inspect/audit a few sites (2015 - 6 sites) (2016 - 24 sites) (2017 - 18 sites). a Typical days work ,I would travel to site, before any work would start ,I implement a HSE System for the workers onsite to manage. After this is done on all sites i do daily,weekly site visits, monthly audits and site reports, and incident investigations I respect other workers duties so that they can respect my duties. I build a good relationship with each SHE REP so that i could teach them. I have learned how to work under a lot of pressure, working on a lot of sites at one time means i must report to different clients on a weekly and monthly basis . I enjoy my work, i have a passion for Health & Safety and can never stop learning. The most challenging aspect of my work is being away from my family for 2 weeks at a time. I enjoy traveling and don't mind traveling away from home for a few days, but being away for between 10 - 15 days is challenging.

Pros: Learned a lot, and grew as a professional. I am not micro managed by Project managers, due to my work is always done.
Cons: Time away from family, Company not looking after their employees.

New developments and challenges. I perform daily inspections, visual and structured, done to insure the compliance of safe working conditions. I always engage in a training method of the way I reply, but still professional. Documentation is on every day`s agenda-paper-trail very important. Working with different walks of life I learned that no tow workers are the same. Allays, first try to understand then look at who you are working with then reply. If you listen to people you learn a lot. The most important of my work is creating n system that is time effective to allow good production but still 100% compliance. Correct, on time and informative reports is submitted to allow full understanding by DOL/DMR and Management. I love working with people as no one is the same, this sets a challenge to get thru to them to understand and work as a team. That is also the biggest challenge of being a Safety Manager.

Cons: Working away from home and familie
