Shop assistant

Responsible for a section (baby section, do refunds and exchanges...assist customers in store and telephonically, mark ups and mark downs,stock counts (everyday )

Pros: Great opportunity to learn about what's available in the market and different products
Cons: Long hours during December holidays and last weekend of the month

Greener Pastures

I was always in the Floor making sure that the shelves are packed and visible to customers at all times. Making sure the client leaves they are happy. Relationship with Co-workers is excellent but I am looking for greener pastures. They have taught me how to always put customers first, managing the warehouse and a few manengerial skills. I enjoyed re organizing the stock room and liaising with customers I even knew some of the customers. Challenges where we had to change stores to a bigget store where I had to work overtime even get home the following day. In the process my overtime was not enough. Regards, Tshepo Thuhlo

My job allows me to have great relationship with the staff as they depend on me for product knowledge and trainings. I am in good terms with all my seniors

Excellent all round client relation

I have in my years of working from all sectors( motor , electronocs and retail) learnt a lot from customer/client handling, financials, admin, becoming a stern and delegations person, I am ever willing to new challenges and aspects, I have become brave in taking on new tasks and being a professional in it.
