Quickly learner,

to prepare daily work with the foreman, shearing the scope of work. that is when every foreman will raise what material/equipment he is going to requires. that is where we update them about the progress of the project & how much effort required to accelerate. costs in terms of time lost (coming early for lunch & leaving early before knock off time), materials cost (materials to be calculated before being ordered to avoid wastage), poor quality (inspection to be carried out before the next stage of work). meetings & co-operation between managements employees makes the project to be easy. listening to employees views because to be a manager it doesn't mean your opinion is always correct. update employees in terms of overtime so that they will be no dispute between.

Pros: it is a good working environment where i meet different people every project. good relationship with employees, clients & suppliers, it's an enviornment which needs focus because of the different activities need to be completed on time, its a risk of money, time & emploeeys lifes. always treat them relativelty
Cons: overtime is there so to catchup with the program, commuicate with employees of any long hours to be worked so they can sort their home changes, organise transport & food.

I have learn the way to talk to management and work under pressure

My name is Mduduzi Mluleki Myeni, a graduate in End-user computing NQF L-3 , SAMTRAC (Safety management) NQF L5,First aid L1&2 and FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION L1 and I have carried out my in service training at Umjindi Municipality and have been placed in the Developmental Planning Department (IDP Section) under the unit as an intern IDP coordinator. My duties include but not limited to filing, data capturing, making and receiving telephones calls, recording messages, faxing and e-mailing correspondences to stakeholder, collecting and receiving post/letters and i did practicals in all Occupational Health and Safety functions at Umjindi Municipality under the guidance of the Occupational Health and Safety Officer. Now I’m currently working at QDS projects as a Safety Officer.

Pros: Got promoted from safety officer to safety manager
Cons: I am willing to work overtime

LEARN A LOT DURING MY TIME AT TRENCON VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY

In our industry we learn a lot everyday, I can now even apply for wayleaves with the JRA and JMPD. OUR TEAM ON SITE IS ONE EXCELLENT TEAM FORSURE. I REALLY LIKE WORKING AT TRENCON CONSTRUCTION AS YOU ARE TREATED WELL BY MANAGEMENT AND THE OWNERS.

Pros: COMPANY IS STABLE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Cons: NOT REALLY A BIG CHANCE OF PROMOTION.

Excellent learning curve

-Hard worker -Team worker and good individual worker -Good personality -I have learned how to operate a crane -Commited and dedicated worker -I will like to learn as much as i can each and every day of my life. Thanks.

Good company to work for

I was enjoying to work for Trencon, they was giving us different types of trainings to motivate us and make sure we are working safely. Unfortunately I was working under a limited contract. Even the money was too little ,but it was nice to work there.

Pros: great training opportunities
Cons: long working hours if required
