Kind and warm colleague

It was a warm and kind environment. I use to get all the support I need. My relationship with my coworkers was mutual. I learned that with better communication and good listening skills you can conquer what ever challenges or difficulties you face. I also learned been patient with students or customers is very important it helps build the bond or the relationship. The challenge I faced was dealing with so many students at once. That wa very challenging for me I have to divide my time in order to assist each and every one.

Pros: Great support
Cons: Doing the same thing all over

Good learning curve, but lack of promotion opportunities

Good place to start your academic career, but little upward movement in terms of promotions and salary increases. The job itself is wonderful, and it is great to work with students, but the administrative workload increases yearly with no increase in ability to apply for promotion or improve salary.

Pros: Great start in academia.
Cons: Odd working hours and lack of consistency in terms of salary increase.

Excellent learning curve

The experience I head during the practicals is the relationship that we build as colleagues and with the students by getting to learn the strong and weak points of the students, preparing apparatus for them and to assisting them were there is a problem. That experience I head enabled me to develop excellent interpersonal, leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Pros: To get a great opportunity to further develop my career.
Cons: Long working hours without a break.

I can be an administrator or personal Assistant

I found work as my happy place because it enables me to what i like, keeping important information while communicating with different people. I have a good relationship with co-workers in a way that every team work succeed beyond the expectations. I have learnt that it is okay to listen to someone, no metter what position held because he might have important information. I enjoy solving people's problems, motivating them to perform better in the organisation. It's challenging to meet difficult people but it is fun, I feel the victory after winning.

Pros: No promotion
Cons: 2 hours

Excellent curving ball

Working with fellow students was a pleasant privilege as it helped me to always be informative and ready to help both my lecturers and the students, as well as planning prior time and working independently. Being a student myself with my work and having to assist was interesting, however, time mangement and prioritizing helped, as well as accountability. It was a true learning experience

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: Long hours with very low pay
