Challenging environment there's always something new to learn

I loved working at Urban Brew I got an opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people, working with professionals, the best in the industry, I enjoyed every moment, shooting the shows like YOTV, Live Amp, Nickelodeon, one day leader, Vodacom Next level and so forth, Ive always liked editing and motion graphics but I haven't really got a chance to properly understand the significance of camera setting until I started working for Urban Brew two years ago and as an ENG camera operator I also stayed in touch with my editing as you work with producers who brief you on how they want their show to look like and me incorporating with my editing skills, pace or tempo, it has tought me how to tell a story not only with my camera work but also with my imagination and pictures which also allows me to be a good video editor too.

Cons: Only have one job

Great learning platforms

I Learned and grew a lot at Urban Brew Studios. The industry and environment. Loved it a lot. It has such potential for young people provided changes are made.

Pros: Platforms to learn are plenty
Cons: Racist undertones at play all day.

Entry level job

did nothing that i studied for. I just kept relieving receptionist when they went for lunch. I felt my ideas weren't welcomed. Didn't get nice projects due to lack of car. Also organised events

Skilled in communication on and off paper, creative, vibrant and eager for growth.

Over the past 3 - 4 years i have acquired important knowledge when dealing with clients, customers and necessary experience to follow through a successful career in the Television Industry, Marketing and digital marketing industry, as well as behind the scenes and on camera. I am quite OCD so i follow through with a plan to reach any given objective. I am pretty friendly and a go "get getter", some people may find it intimidating at times but i am a peoples person nonetheless. I enjoy entertaining people and engaging in new conversation, whether it be on air, on ads, digital marketing and creating new aspects and ideas for growth.

A good stepping stone

Urban brew studios has some of the most talented staff members however the work environment doesn't have room for growth and leaves employees in stagnat positions.

It helps me meet different people

I am always early to arrive then set up everything for colleagues to come through already set up then we screen the children and teachers all day .we work well together and make it worth while
