Clients and my colleagues
I work with clients everyday, assisting them with their finances and processing their application, eg home loans, personal loans ,credit cards, investments and vehicle finance. My day is always challenging, because sometimes its not easy to satisfy all your clients. My colleagues their are a good team, sometimes you will have days where colleague is negative, but if I have a positive mind set its shouldn't be a problem towards me and making sure my clients are satisfied and my work is done 100%. All clients are different but what I have learned is to treat everyone the same and not to judge the person by how they look. The most challenging part of my job is to deal with complaints, but I always do my best to find the reason of the complaint and resolve it accordingly and also make sure the is satisfied.

Excellent Learning experience, great networking opportunitites.
Every day is busy, meetings, workshops, managing stakeholders, elicit requirements, manage risk, solving problems, lively and filled with excitement. People are mostly professional and hard working. Most teams are high performing and all which aim to add to the success of Nedbank.

Very challenging and keeps you on your toes at all times
As a sales consultant everyday is a challenge, as there are daily targets, weekly targets and monthly targets and knowing that those targets won't meet themselves as an action plan is suppose to be put in place. We've built a good working environment as we spend more hours at a work place and also in order to manage to meet up branch sales targets teamwork is a solution as one can not do everything alone. I've learnt that good service for each and every client is the best strategy as clients buy service more than a price, and that your clients are the best marketers. What I enjoy about my role is meeting new people everyday and the satisfaction that you get from meeting your targets. My role is very challenging as working with people is never easy and you don't know what tomorrow will bring as days are always different.

Great place for career development
Nedbank is a great place to work the reason being I've developed advance skills and experience in delivering world class client service to different types of race, I've grown in my career level by attaining promotion from lower to higher position. I've acquire skills to work as excellent team player as it is requirement for my job The challenging part of my job its when it looks like we not going to make a target for month. What I like the mosts about my job is to make a huge difference and a good change to individual life (Client) by exceeding expectation.

Its not a Job, its my career
My department is a high pressured environment, with great learning opportunities. The team dynamics are great as we all speak one language, and live the company values. My relationships are of high standard as I value each persons role and what they bring. I enjoy working with the variety of people and variety of personalities, the interaction between different departments and cross function skilling. with all these differences there are bound to be challenges which is the most exciting or driving part of my job, dealing with people and different situations. My team is made up of 45 people who are skilled in their roles and add a little spice to the team dynamics. Working with a lively group who air their opinions respectfully and respect a leaders decisions makes the work just more enjoyable.

I excell in my current job
I do a lot of typing in the form of reporting for every client I deal with. I always do follow ups to my clients queries and always go back and give them solutions/ feed backs. I regard myself as a team player and have a good relationship with my co workers. The best thing I have learnt,

Key Responsibilities o Issue credit card statements o Reverse incorrectly charged fees when a need arises o Prepare credit card contract reconciliation o Replace lost or damaged cards o Open new credit card accounts o Close customer's credit card accounts as per clients' requests , o Re-opening of credit cards accounts when a need arise o Issue embassy letters to clients for who are traveling abroad and needs to use their credit cards o Issue Tax certificates for Tax purposes o Assist Team leader with verification of payments when a need arise o Train new staff on how to use our operating system

Great working environment
Having worked for the company for the second time, I have learned so much about the Banking industry and FICA. I enjoy my job as an Ops Administrator, I do indexing and sometimes validation as well. It's been a learning curve and a great opportunity to work for one of the biggest companies in the country. I love the ambience of team spirit and support.
